Beata Cecilia Eusepi, también conocida como María Angela, nació el 17 de febrero de 1910 en Monte Romano, Viterbo, Italia. Fue la menor de once hermanos en su familia. La vida temprana de Cecilia estuvo marcada por la tragedia, ya que su padre falleció apenas dos meses después de su nacimiento.
