Biografía

Beato Miguel José McGivney, nacido el 12 de agosto de 1852 en Waterbury, Connecticut, fue hijo de inmigrantes irlandeses. Desde joven mostró una fuerte fe y un deseo de conocimiento. En busca de su vocación, estudió en el Seminario Saint-Hyacinthe en Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canadá, comenzando en 1868. Reconociendo su potencial, más tarde completó sus estudios en el Seminario de Santa María en Baltimore, Maryland, en 1873.
