Beato Paolo Giustiniani, también conocido como Paolo de Venecia, nació el 15 de junio de 1476 en Venecia, Italia. Provenía de una noble familia veneciana, siendo hijo de Francesco Giustiniani y Paola Malipiero. Paolo recibió una sólida educación en teología y filosofía en la prestigiosa Universidad de Padua.
