Biografía

Beato Rupert Mayer, también conocido como El Apóstol de Múnich y El Sacerdote cojo, nació el 23 de enero de 1876 en Stuttgart, Alemania. Como joven, sintió una fuerte llamada al sacerdocio y cursó estudios de filosofía y teología en Friburgo, Suiza, así como en Múnich y Tübingen, Alemania. Fue ordenado sacerdote en 1899.
