Saint Himerius of Amelia, also known as Imerio, was a prominent figure in the early Christian Church. He was born in Calabria, southern Italy, in an unknown year. Himerius dedicated his life to the service of God and became a monk in Amelia, a city located in the Umbria region of Italy.
