Biografía
Saint Kyneburga of Castor, daughter of Pendra of Mercia, entered a world marked by spiritual tension. Her father, a pagan ruler, fiercely opposed Christianity, yet Kyneburga’s family circle embraced the new faith; her sister, Saint Kyneswide, and her relative, Saint Tibba, were steadfast Christians. Drawn to the monastic life, Kyneburga embraced the Benedictine vocation, dedicating herself to prayer and service. She later founded and served as the first abbess of Dormancaster Abbey
