San Plácido, también conocido como Plácido o Plácido, fue una figura venerada en el cristianismo primitivo y un seguidor devoto de San Benito de Nursia. Nació en una familia patricia y senatorial y fue enviado como niño a estudiar con San Benito en el famoso monasterio de Subiaco, Italia.
