San Silaus de Lucca

Saint Silaus of Lucca, also known as Silave or Silan and commonly referred to as the "Father of the Poor," was a revered Catholic monk, abbot, and bishop born in Ireland. Silaus eventually became the abbot of Saint Brendan's Abbey, a renowned monastery in Ireland known for its commitment to charitable works and spiritual guidance.
