A bounded historical index
Patron Saints Across the Centuries
Trace public patron-saint profiles through Christian history, from the early centuries to the present, with the evidence behind each century placement kept visible.
What this history currently covers
This first release includes only canonical public patron-saint profiles whose existing birth or death evidence supports one CE century. It is not yet a complete history of every saint or blessed. BCE, ranged, ambiguous, undated, and chronology-conflicted records remain outside this timeline until they can be represented and reviewed safely.
Browse the CE centuries
Each destination is a filtered view of the same reviewed patron-saint chronology. Counts describe profiles in this bounded index, not the total number of saints who lived in a century.

How century placement works
A death reference is used when available; a birth reference is the fallback. Source prose takes precedence over legacy numeric fields, BCE is never coerced into CE, impossible life chronologies are withheld, and every listed profile links back to its public canonical route.
