Blessed Edward Stapleton, a courageous and devoted Catholic priest, was born in Ireland and served faithfully in the diocese of Cashel. He is best known as one of the Irish Martyrs, a group of men who suffered persecution and martyrdom for their unwavering faith during a tumultuous period in Ireland's history.
