Blessed Josep Ferrer EscolÖ was born on October 12, 1878, in the town of Almasora, Lleida, Spain. He became a member of the Claretians, also known as the Congregation of Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, dedicating his life to serving God and spreading the Gospel.
