Blessed Margaret Pole, also known as Margaret Plantagenet, was born on August 14, 1473, in Somerset, Wiltshire, England, as the daughter of George, Duke of Clarence. She was the niece of King Edward IV and King Richard III of England, making her part of the royal Plantagenet family.
