Blessed Matthew Lambert, also known as Maitiú Laimpeart or Matthew Lamport, was a lifelong layman in the diocese of Ferns, Ireland. He was born in Wexford, Ireland, and worked as a baker throughout his life. His unwavering commitment to his Catholic faith during a time of intense persecution in Ireland ultimately led to his martyrdom.
