Blessed Nicola of Gesturi, also known as Giovanni Angelo Salvatore Medda, was born on 4 August 1882 in Gesturi, Cagliari, Italy. He was the sixth child of Giovanni Medda and Priama Cogoni Zedda. Sadly, Nicola's father passed away when he was just five years old, and his mother died when he was thirteen....
