Blessed Patrick Ohealy, also known as Pádraig Ó Héilí and Patrick O’Hely, was a devout Catholic who dedicated his life to the service of God as a member of the Franciscan Friars Minor (Observants). Born around 1543 in Dromahaire, a small town in Leitrim, Ireland, he embarked on his journey of faith by entering the novitiate of the Order in 1561.
