The Martyrs of Chalcedon were a group of three Christian men who were known for their bravery and unwavering faith in the face of persecution. Their names were Manuel, Sabel, and Ismael. They were sent as ambassadors from King Baltan of Persia to the court of Emperor Julian the Apostate, with the aim of negotiating peace and putting an end to Julian's persecutions of Christians....
