Saint Thorlak Thorhallsson, born around 1133 and died on December 23, 1193, was a prominent figure in Icelandic church history and the patron saint of Iceland. He served as Bishop of Skálholt from 1178 until his death. After his passing, his relics were translated to the Cathedral of Skálholt in 1198....
