Pope Zachary, also known as Saint Zachary (Latin: Zacharias; c. 679 – 15 March 752), was the bishop of Rome from 3 or 5 December 741 until his death on 15 March 752. He is considered the last pope of the Byzantine Papacy and is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church. As a capable administrator, Zachary oversaw several significant events during his papacy....
