Saint Éoghan of Ardstraw, also known as Eugene, Eugenius, Euny, Owen, and Tir Eoghain, was a prominent figure in Irish Christianity during the 6th century. Born in Leinster, Ireland, in the 6th century, Éoghan's life was marked by a series of remarkable events that ultimately led him to become a revered saint and bishop. As a young boy, Éoghan was captured by pirates and taken as a slave....
