Saint Abraham of Abela, also known as Abraham of Arbela, was a renowned bishop from the region of Abela in Assyria, which is now located in modern-day Iraq. He is considered a martyr for his unwavering faith in the face of intense persecution during the reign of King Sapor II of Persia. Saint Abraham's refusal to worship the sun, as demanded by the king, ultimately led to his martyrdom....
