Saint Alexius U Seyong, also known as Alejo U Se-yong, Alessio U Se-yong, Alleksio, and U Se-Yeong, was born in 1845 in Seoheung, Hwanghae-do, North Korea. He was born into a wealthy noble family in the apostolic vicariate of Korea. Despite his privileged background, Alexius found himself drawn to Christianity and developed a strong interest in the faith....
