Saint Almut of Wetter, also known as Almud, was born in the 9th century in Germany into a royal family. Not much is known about her early life, but she is remembered for her significant contributions to the establishment and leadership of the convent of Wetter in Oberlahngau, Germany. Together with her sister Digmund, Saint Almut founded the convent of Wetter, where she served as its first abbess....
