Saint Anastasius The Persian, also known as Anastasius XIV or Magundat, was a remarkable figure in the early history of Christianity. Born in Persia under the name Magundat, he embarked on a journey that led him from being a pagan magician and a soldier in the army of Persian king Khusrow II to becoming a devoted monk and eventually a martyr for his newfound faith....
