Saint André de Soveral, also known as Saint Andrew de Soveral, was born in 1572 in São Vicente, São Paulo, Brazil. He dedicated his life to the service of God and eventually became one of the Martyrs of Brazil. At the age of twenty-one, André joined the Jesuits in 1593 and undertook his novitiate in Bahia, Brazil. After completing his training, he began his missionary work in the Rio Grande do Norte area in 1606....
