Saint Appian of Comacchio, also known as Apianus, Appiano, or Appianus, was a Benedictine monk and hermit known for his devout life and missionary efforts in Comacchio, Italy. He was born in the 8th century in Liguria, Italy, and little is known about his early life and background.
