Saint Arnold Janssen was born on November 5, 1837, in Goch, North Rhein-Westphalia, Germany. From a young age, Arnold felt a strong calling to the priesthood, and he pursued his vocation with great determination. He was ordained as a priest in August 1861 and began his ministry by teaching science and catechism for twelve years....
