Saint Asaph of Llanelwy, also known as Asaph of Llan-Elwy, Asaph of Wales, and by variations of the name such as Asa, Asaf, Assa, and Assad, was a prominent figure in the early Christian Church in Wales during the 6th century. Born in the late 5th century, Asaph was believed to be closely related to Saint Deiniol of Bangor and Saint Tysilio, both renowned saints in Wales....
