Saint Athanasius of the Caves, also known as Athanasius of Kiev, Athanasius of the Resurrection, and Afanasij, was a revered hermit and renowned miracle worker. He lived during the 12th century in the caves around Kiev, Ukraine. Little is known about Saint Athanasius' early life, but he is believed to have been born in the late 11th century....
