Saint Begga of Andenne, also known as Saint Begga of Landen, was born into the nobility around the year 615. She was the daughter of Saint Pepin of Landen, who served as the mayor of the palace at the Merovingian court, and Saint Ida of Nivelles. Begga grew up in a devout Christian family and had a sister named Gertrude, who later became a saint as well....
