Saint Benildus, also known as Benilde, Peter Romancon, Pierre Romancon, or Benildo Romancon, was born on 14 June 1805 in Thuret, France, as Pierre Romancon. He received his education from the De La Salle Brothers and displayed exceptional academic abilities. By the age of 14, he had already become a part-time teacher, nurturing his passion for education and helping others learn....
