Saint Bernard of Menthon, also known as the Apostle of the Alps, was born around the year 923 in Menthon, in the region of Savoy, which is now part of modern-day France. He was born into a noble French family and dedicated his life to serving God and his fellow human beings. Bernard was ordained a priest and later became the Archdeacon of Aosta in the year 996....
