Saint Bertrand of Comminges, also known as Bertrand of Toulouse, was born in the 11th century in France. He came from a military family, and his parents had expected him to pursue a military career. However, Bertrand felt a strong calling to religious life and joined the canons of Toulouse. Bertrand's dedication and zeal for his faith led him to become an archdeacon....
