Saint Canog Ap Brychan, also known as Cynog, Cenneur, and Kennauc, was born a Prince, the eldest son of Saint Brychan of Brecknock, and Benedulved. He is revered as a martyr and is widely venerated in Wales. Born around 434, Saint Canog dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Christianity in his homeland.
