Saint Catherine Labouré, also known as Zoe Laboure, was born on May 2, 1806, in Fain-les-Moûtiers, Côte d’Or, Burgundy, France. She was the ninth of eleven children born into a humble farm family. Even from a young age, Catherine felt a strong calling to the religious life. Unfortunately, Catherine never had the opportunity to learn how to read or write....
