Saint Columba of Sens, also known as Saint Columba of Spain, was born in Spain around the year 257. She was born into a noble family and grew up in a time of religious persecution under the rule of Emperor Aurelian. At the age of 16, Columba and other Christians from Spain fled to Gaul (modern-day France) in order to escape the harsh persecutions they were facing....
