Saint Cormac of Cashel, also known as Saint Cormac mac Cuilennáin, was an influential figure in Irish Catholicism during the early medieval period. He is revered as the first bishop of Cashel, Ireland, and is often celebrated as a close friend and contemporary of Saint Columba of Iona. Born in 836, Cormac was of royal descent, the son of Cuilennán, who was the King of Munster....
