Saint Cristobal Magallanes Jara was born on July 30, 1869, in La Sementera, Totatiche, Jalisco, Mexico. He was born into a farm family and worked as a shepherd during his youth. From an early age, Cristobal felt a calling to serve God and entered the seminary at the age of 19. After completing his studies, Cristobal was ordained a priest and dedicated himself to serving as a parish priest in Totatiche, Mexico....
