Saint Disciola of Poitiers was born in the 6th century and was the niece of Saint Salvius, the bishop of Albi, France. Little is known about the early life of Disciola, but her association with her uncle, who was known for his holiness and piety, likely influenced her own spiritual journey. At some point, Disciola decided to dedicate her life to God and entered the Abbey of Santa Croce in Poitiers, France....
