Saint Donatus of Arezzo, also known as Donato, was an esteemed bishop and martyr of the early Catholic Church. Born in Nicomedia, which is part of modern-day Turkey, he received a comprehensive education in Rome, Italy. During the oppressive reign of Emperor Diocletian, when Christians faced severe persecution, Donatus sought refuge in the city of Arezzo, Italy....
