Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, also known as Elizabeth of Thuringia, Elisabeth, and Elisabetta, was a princess and the daughter of King Andrew of Hungary. Born in 1207 in Presburg, Hungary, she grew up in a royal household and was brought up in the Catholic faith. Elizabeth's life would be marked by her unwavering devotion to Christ and her steadfast commitment to serving the poor and sick....
