Saint Ethernan was born to the Scottish nobility in Scotland. He received a well-rounded education and was later consecrated as a bishop in Ireland. After his consecration, he felt a deep calling to return to his homeland and spread the Christian faith. Saint Ethernan dedicated his life to evangelizing the regions of Buchan and Aberdeenshire in Scotland....
