Saint Euphemia of Chalcedon, also known as Euphemia the All-Praised, was born to a wealthy, aristocratic, and pious family in the pagan world. Her parents, Philophorm and Theodosia, were devout Christians who instilled their faith in their daughter. Euphemia chose to consecrate herself as a virgin and dedicated her life to God....
