Saint Eustachius, also known as Eustace or Placidus, was a pagan Roman general in the army of Emperor Trajan. His life changed dramatically following a hunting trip, during which he had a vision of a glowing cross between the antlers of a stag. This vision led to his conversion to Christianity. After his conversion, Eustachius received a prophecy that he would face suffering for Christ....
