Saint Florentius, also known as Fiorenzo, Florence, or Florent-le-Vieux, was a spiritual student of Saint Martin of Tours in the 5th century. He was born in Bavaria, Germany, and his exact birthdate is not known. Having been mentored and ordained by Saint Martin, Florentius was chosen to evangelize the region of Poitou, France....
