Saint Francesco Saverio Maria Bianchi, also known as the Apostle of Naples and Francis Xavier Bianchi, was born on 2 December 1743 in Arpino, Frosinone, Italy. From a young age, it was apparent that he had a calling to religious life. At the age of 14, against the objections of his family, he joined the Barnabite order.
