Saint Frumentius of Hadrumetum, also known as Frumentius the Merchant, was a prominent figure in early Christian history. Born into a wealthy merchant family, Frumentius's life took an unexpected turn when he found himself caught in the midst of persecution under the Arian Vandal King Hunneric.
