Saint Garibaldus of Regensburg, also known as Garibaldus of Ratisbon or Gaubald, was a Benedictine monk and the first bishop of Regensburg, Germany. He was ordained by Saint Boniface around the year 740 and went on to become the abbot of the Saint Emmeran monastery in Regensburg. Garibaldus was born in Bavaria, Germany, into a noble family....
