Saint Gistaldo, also known as Giselades, Giselahad, Gisgald, and Siglad, was a Catholic martyr and son of Saint Sigismund of Burgundy. He was born in the Kingdom of Burgundy in the early 6th century. Not much is known about his early life, but he was deeply devoted to his faith from a young age. In the year 523, the Franks invaded the region where Saint Gistaldo and his parents resided....
