Saint Goeric of Metz, also known as Abo, Abbo, Abbone, Goerico, Goericus, Goëry, or Goéry, was born in the 6th century as the nephew of Saint Arnulf of Metz. He lived during a time when the Merovingian dynasty ruled over the Frankish Kingdom. Despite his noble lineage, Goeric chose a life of service to God and dedicated himself to the Church....
