Saint Hesychius of Antioch, also known as Esichio, was a courageous Imperial Roman soldier who lived during a period of persecution against Christians. Not much is known about his early life, but it is believed that he was born in Antioch, a city in ancient Syria, which is now modern-day Antakya, Turkey.
